Basic Policy
Quraz, Ltd. (“the Company”) has a legal and social responsibility to protect the personal information of our customers and other stakeholders possessed by the Company. To this end, all directors and employees will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other related laws and regulations, the guidelines of the Personal Information Protection Committee, this policy, and internal company regulations to properly handle personal information possessed by the Company and to prevent and correct leakage, loss, or damage of such information.
Proper Acquisition and Use of Personal Information
The Company will acquire personal information by legitimate and proper means. Furthermore, we will use personal information in a legitimate and proper manner within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
Purpose of Use
The Company will use our customers' personal information for the following purposes:
- Provision of products and services (including digital services such as websites, mobile apps, etc.)
- Response to inquiries
- Contract management and billing
- Safety management of facilities and services operated by the Company
- Provision of information on products, services and campaigns
- Research and analysis of market trends and customer needs, etc.
- Development, improvement and enhancement of products and services
- Exercise of contractual rights or fulfillment of contractual obligations related to the provision of products and services
- Operations related to each of the above
The Company may retain and use customer personal information even after the expiration of the contract. In such cases, personal information will be handled in accordance with this policy.
Security Control Measures
The Company will take appropriate security control measures and corrective actions against risks such as unauthorized access to personal information or the loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information. In order to ensure the smooth administration of this policy, we will appoint a personal information manager and take appropriate security control measures, including maintenance of internal rules, systematic education and training for employees, and periodic review and evaluation of compliance with this policy, and will continue to improve these measures.
Outsourcing
When outsourcing the handling of personal information to an external contractor, the Company will select such contractor based on the condition that the contractor has secured an adequate level of personal information protection, and will properly supervise the contractor, including signing a contract regarding the handling of personal information.
Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the customer's consent, except in the following cases:
- When it is required by laws and regulations.
- When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person, and obtaining the customer's consent is difficult.
- When it is especially necessary to improve public health or to promote healthy development of children, and obtaining the customer's consent is difficult.
- When it is necessary to cooperate with national authorities, local governments, or persons entrusted by them to perform their duties specified by laws and regulations, and obtaining the customer's consent may interfere with the performance of such duties.
Procedures for Requesting Disclosure, etc.
The Company will respond appropriately and promptly to customers' requests for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, deletion, and other procedures.
